The Centre for Women & Democracy is an independent, non-partisan organization working to increase the representation of women in public life in the UK. As our name suggests, we are particularly interested in women in politics, but we also want women to be better represented at all levels in all decision-making positions.
Unlike most ‘think tanks’ we are based in the north of England rather than London – this means that we don’t always see the Westminster village from the same angle as people who are closer to it!
